Pdf file does not open if there is an excel macro on the page

I upload PDF and EXCEL files to the page. I go into editing, press "+" and select "insert link". I select "file" and paste the PDF.
Further I select a macro "office excel" and I select excel.
I save the page and the pdf file does not open. in developer mode the browser shows an error. Maybe someone faced such a problem?

Please try to update all the available third-party applications to fix this issue.

The issue is mostly because of the Smart Attachments for Confluence application. Please try to update it to the latest version and try. If the issue exists even after updating then try to disable and see
