I'm creating a work instruction document using the page layout '2 column section with right sidebar'. This function creates a section with two 'columns': one main section and one sidebar to the right. My intention is to have text in the main column, while showing screenshots in the right sidebar. The screenshots are in a fixed spot compared to the text.
This works perfectly in Confluence, but isn't being exported to PDF as intended.
By use of the pagebreak macro I can control pdf page layout for the main text column of the sections, but apparently the same macro doesn't affect the content in the right sidebar. In my PDF export the screenshots in the right sidebar are being displayed on the wrong page (see screenshots below).
I tried to use 2 'pagebreak' macros in parallel, one in either column of the section, but this messed up the PDF horribly.
Does anyone know how to make the pagebreak consistent for the entire section, not only for the main column?
I should probably mention I don't have admin rights in Confluence. If however some additional scripting is required I can reach out to colleagues to assist.
Some screenshots to further detail the situation:
1. Sections in Confluence with correct layout and 'pagebreak' for the new section:
2. Export to PDF with incorrect layout:
Which Confluence version are you using? There have been some upgrade with 6.13 / 6.14 on PDF exports.
