Page tree macro set number of subpages to display

Is it possible using the page tree macro, to limit the visible child pages to show only 4 at a time under the parent page when it’s expanded on the page containing the macro, but display all child pages when expanded in the sidebar?

For example, there are a total of 8 child pages, but I want only the latest 4 created to display on the page when the parent page is expanded on the page containing the macro.

Hi Chela!

This isn't possible with the Page Tree macro, but you can obtain a similar functionality with the Children Display Macro if you set the Number of Children to "4" and Sort Children By to "creation". However, the child pages will not be expandable.
