Page 'jumping' in edit mode when trying to edit links

While editing a page (confluence v6.4, IE11) that has a long table with hyperlinks in it, the page 'jumps' to the top of the page and then back to where your cursor is when you click a link to try and edit it. Additionally, the context menu doesn't show as it should.

Has anyone else experienced this? How can it be resolved?

Are you using compatibility mode in IE? If so, turn it off and try again.

It's a client's setup, so we'll need to ask their IT department. Shall raise the question; it may be that there are wider ramifications to turning off compatibility mode, if it's in use.

Hi Nic - I can confirm that compatibility mode isn't switched on. Is there any other reason the page could be 'jumping'? The layout uses sections, and the content is also in a table of contents zone; could that be causing issues?

A bug in Confluence (although that would be affecting everyone), a bug in the IE you are using (not unlikely, as IE is known to be a poor browser), or an add-on injecting something into the javascript which has a bug.

I'd try turning off all the add-ons (temporarily) and seeing if the problem still occurs.
