Page history shows changes to formatted text

Hi,

When I view the differences in the page history, formatted text always displays "Formatting was changed."

This applies to every formatted text (e.g., italics). But these texts haven't been changed! Why is that? It looks like a bug to me!

Hi @Reinhard Spagl welcome to the community.  Could the text color have changed at all? I'm not sure if you set the blue as a highlighting to the issue, or if the text is actually blue.  I found CONFCLOUD-78610 which will report a change when the text is colored.  I'm wondering if this could be your issue.  If it is, feel free to vote for and watch it for updates.

you are right! The text is colored and thats the issue. I tried it and it is exactly how it is reported at CONFCLOUD-78610 .

PS: I'm a bit surprised that such basic functions are still buggy. This seems to have been a problem for a while.
