Page Tree Macro not saving and/or displaying after update

Charlie Zeier March 6, 2024

In my existing space, I have a section with several sub-pages. I add the page tree macro to the section's page and set root page as @self. As you can see in the image, it displays properly.

I save the macro and the first thing I notice is I don't see it on my page. I have to physically click in the space where the macro should be and then I see it. If I edit it, it does show the same information as the above image.

I then update the parent page and nothing is displayed.

If I edit the page to check the page tree macro, it is removed from the page in totality

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any advise? Thank you!

@Charlie Zeier welcome to the Atlassian community

Did this just start happening?   Is it happening in all browsers and to all users?

Hi @Brant Schroeder thanks for reaching out. I found someone internally that helped me. Had to do with a special character that somehow messed it up. Can't recall specifics as he was moving so fast!
