It appears that the Page Properties Report macro is no longer collating multiple page properties of the same id from a page into the report macro.

This was working until yesterday or today i believe, is it a bug introduced in Confluence?

Hello @Ross McDermott !

I tried to display the content of three different Page Properties macro within the same page and it worked as expected.

All three Page Properties had the ID set as “100”. When I used the Page Properties Report macro to show the results, this is what I see:

Here is the page that contains all the  Page Properties:

With this in mind, I would like to ask you a few questions:

  1. Are you still facing this issue?
  2. What is the ID being used for the Page Properties?
  3. What is displayed within the Page Properties Report since  the page properties are not displayed?

Let us hear from you!

Hi, we're approaching from slightly different, with multiple page properties with the same identifier on the page. We validated this approach a few weeks ago and had pages working with this approach, then something appears to have regressed in the functionality and no longer works as expected.

  • Are you still facing this issue?
    • Yes, see images below
  • What is the ID being used for the Page Properties?
    • Yes - 100 - see below;
  • What is displayed within the Page Properties Report since  the page properties are not displayed?
    • See below

Our expectation (and previous behaviour we observed) was that the page summary should have 2 lines in it, one for each of the page property identifiers.

Thanks for sharing more details about your situation @Ross McDermott .

As I see, you are using Page Properties macros that contain the same Key for the values (A, B, and C).

While our documentation does not say something about this:

We do have a standing bug the points at this behavior:

The only workaround to that is using different keys in each Page Properties macro.

The best course of action is to vote and watch the report. The report is currently listed as being in our Long Term Backlog.

One thing I was not able to replicate is having multiple entrances of the same page in the Page Properties Report, one entrance per Page Properties macro. When I place different Page Properties macro on the same page, the page gets one entrance with all values listed there.

Are there any other details about this outcome that you could share with us? How did you set up both your Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros to achieve that?

Let us hear from you!
