Option to Add or Edit labels is missing

I have one particular space where the option to Add or Edit labels (this) is missing _from the `…` menu when editing a page. The link is there when viewing pages._ 

There is no such option in the space settings, at least I and the search feature can't find it. 

What am I missing?

I could not find a solution to this, but @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ suggests it should be doable.

please check that you edit permsision on the space and that pages you are working on are not restricted in editing to you.
