Open Word document for editing fails

I have Word documents saved in a filelist in Confluence but when I try to open for "Edit in word" it fails with error.
I use Office2016. If I save the document to disk and open it up it works but I'd like to open it from Confluence and have nothing saved locally. 

Any suggestions on how to slove this?
