Only a group should be able to create a sub-task

Hi everyone, 

I am trying to configure the following in Jira:

only group A can create a sub-task and group B should not be able to create a sub-task.

Can someone help please?

Hey, 

Sub-task follows the create issue permission that means we can't limit who can create sub-tasks if we want to allow everyone to create other types of issues in Jira. 

What you can do is create separate workflow for Sub-task and add a workflow validator to your workflow. Validator should check if creator is in a group.
