We have one user who cannot log in to confluence anymore. They have been able to login without issue until 4 days. When they login it it just goes to a black screen. They can log into Jira, Bitbucket and bamboo without an issue.
Everyone else can still login and out without issues. We are using ldap through Jira to allow permissions.
I have checked the logs file and cannot see an issue. He has tried different browsers on multiple machines include other users and sill nothing.
We tried "Test Remote Directory Connection" and it shows their username and password works.
I found the issue was with the user. They changed their password and it contained a $. To see it work we just added $ to the password field on login and it broke. Once he changed his password on ldap he was able to login to Confluence.
This is on confluence 7.0.3.
That is a strange problem. When was the last JIRA was indexed? It sounds like you need to delete his profile and recreate it and Reindex JIRA before having that user sign in. Is Jira the only screen that is black?
