Hello.

I have a confluence page with embedded Jira filter. When filter changes (new Jira issues is created) page obliviously does not get updated and watchers are not notified. Any workarounds here? I know we can set subscription for the Jira filter but that has its own limitations, eg, can't send only changes and every time sends the entire list of issues

Hello Mike,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you.

In order to receive any notifications about changes within Jira, the user needs to be a licensed Jira user. You will need to configure the notifications to be sent on the Jira end.

Have a look at Creating a Notification Scheme for more details.

Another way would be for the user to subscribe to the specific search results in Jira. See Working with Search Results.

I hope that clarifies things for you, but do let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
