Hello,
i have a page with dates and i would like to get notifications if one date is expired.
is that possible?
Thanks
Hi @Dimitris_Aggelopoulos and welcome,
based on my knowledge you can't setup this type of notification. A confluence page could contain a lot of dates so it's impossibile to be notified about page contents.
Please check the following article https://community.atlassian.com/forums/App-Central-articles/Confluence-due-date-notifications-and-reminders/ba-p/2535291 that contains a way to have a page due date and how to setup a notification based on that. BTW, this feature is provided by a third part app.
Hope this helps,
Fabio

There is no direct way or feature available in confluence, try if any of the below approaches work
Use add-ons/apps like Better Content Archiving for Confluence Cloud which offer expiration tracking features. These apps allow you to assign expiration dates to pages and send custom reminder emails to page owners or watchers when dates approach or pass.
The "Expires" macro concept is currently an open suggestion but not implemented natively in Confluence Cloud. Some add-ons implement similar functionality by notifying watchers or page owners when pages become out-of-date.
You can set reminders or notifications around page review or update workflows using CQL (Confluence Query Language) filters combined with apps like Better Content Archiving to schedule and automate email alerts based on expiration dates.
Thanks

As both @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ and @Jayesh Raghuvanshi suggested, "expiration tracking" is a primary use case for the Better Content Archiving app. In fact, this is a typical content lifecycle problem and the app is developed exactly for those.
Here are the related parts from the app documentation:
1) You can set the expiration date for a single page, a whole tree of pages or a blog post:
2) You can send automation notification emails about expired pages:
3) You can customize the notification email (this example notifies contents in multiple variants of "expired" statuses while displaying the precise status for each):
