Hello! I am not receiving email notifications regarding edits on a page, despite my email notifications being on and my watching the page. My colleague is receiving email notifications about the updates I make to the page, but I am not receiving notifications about their updates. Is there something that I may be missing? Thank you in advance!
@Michael O_Malley in Confluence Server, there's an option Notify Watchers on page edits. By default the box is selected so that notifications are sent. However it's possible to de-select the box, and since Confluence 5.8 and above Confluence will remember your preference the next time you edit a page.
One possibility then is that your colleague has the box unchecked:
As an aside, there's also a fairly popular app called No Email Storm that removes the checkbox, and adds a "Save and Notify" button next to the save button. Worth calling out since instances with the No Email Storm app installed will show a slightly different layout in the Save options at the bottom.
Thank you for the reply! My teammate did have the button checked; we were unable to figure out what we were doing different in our edits or settings that would have them receive email notice and me not.
Are there any other potential solutions at play, or would the best course of action be to use the no Email Storm app?

Do you receive other emails from Confluence - for example, if you enable the Subscribe to daily updates email (Settings menu in the top right, Email tab on the left, click Edit, then enable that checkbox) do you receive that email every day?

Thanks for the check @G subramanyam ! The email suppression you mentioned occurs with Cloud sites using Atlassian's mail relays, and doesn't apply to Server instances. In this case, the suppression list isn't a factor.
