Not able to create cascading select custom field

I know the solution I want to implement is Cascading Select custom field.

Problem:  I am not able to create cascading select type custom field.  There is no option.

People tells me that this is Native Jira functionality and I do not need any plug-in/Addons.

How do I get to creating "Cascading Select custom filed"?  Can someone please help me with plain English?

To creating any custom fields in jira, first you need to have Jira admin rights, if so then go to admin section --> issues --> select custom field.

Click on top right side Add Custom field button then it will pop up with all the type of custom fields, just search with the name cascading and you will see the field like Select list (cascading).

Select this field and provide the details and create it.
