No + function to create page in sidebar

Create a new page by clicking the + in the personal space sidebar.

The only plus in my sidebar is to add a shortcut. Unfortunately it doesn't appear I can show that because this space will not allow me to copy an image and post it here 

The side bar shows Overview Blogs Space Settings Shortcuts  + and then a heading called Pages - there's nothing underneath Pages

I am also having this issue. Did you find a solution?

I haven't been using Confluence at all- too frustrating but I now see a + sign in the upper menu area

Alright so I still cannot see a + button next to the pages in the sidebar.... but you can press the "Create" button at the top and it will create a new page for you.
