New variables in new templates.

Hi, I'm trying to create my own template with this instruction. There is a problem when I try to create a variable. 
After saving the template, this is what it looks like in the space setting 

Then I go to create a page with that template, but there aren't any param that is promoted to be filled, it leads me directly to the editing page. 
How can I make it lead to a param box like this

I believe you've run into the following bug:

• CONFCLOUD-65790 Not possible to populate variables on the new editor

A fix is nearly complete, but we noticed some issues in the last review and are addressing that at the moment. Please watch the bug and you will be updated of any further progress.
