New Editor: How to place small graphics in a grid format?

Charisma Riley

Hi, there! We have a bunch of icons we'd like to list on a page so that people can peruse them and pick which ones they want. However, I cannot seem to get more than one image per line. Surely, there must be a way? I saw that the gallery macro is being deprecated (along with every other stylization possibility) in cloud, plus it doesn't allow anyone to resize the images inside the macro, so my icons that should be small are blown up to be big. This should be cake; what am I missing? Having little images, on per line, is ridiculous.

Hello again, Charisma!

Nice to hear from you again.

In order to organize your images in a grid, you can create a table for them, and place the images in each cell.

Please note, it's still not possible to resize images within a table, so you'll want to make sure to have a version of the icon that's as small as you want it to be. If you need them to be able to have the full size, you can attach both to the page, and link the small version to the larger version.

Below you will find the feature request to be able to resize images within a table:

For the first issue, I believe this is related to the following:

It appears the new editor is forcing images to be on separate lines. You may also vote on this issue and you will also receive updates for it.

I hope that helps, Charisma. Let me know if you have any trouble.
