Need help for confluence upgrading from 5.1.1 - 6.9.0

We were running confluence-5.1.1 prior, and now we need to upgrade this to confluence-6.9.0. So we are trying to setup in a test env, and get the backup there of the current data in Prod. 

We have now a setup an empty site in TEST environment. 

Could you please help us how to get the backups to the empty site ?
