Hi,
I was using Confluence free plan, where i would save my personal work data. I started getting email about account deativation if i don't visit it soon. The issue is that i was visiting my workspace which can be seen in my browser history. But it was deleted anyway.
Can anyone from customer support help me. I just want to download my data as .pdfs and after that they can delete if they want.

Hello and welcome to Atlassian Community @CodeLazarus
I flagged this post to get attention from Atlassian.
That will need some back-end checks which we cannot provide to you directly as Community members.

Hi @CodeLazarus ,
On top of what Arkadiusz said, here's a really good article by a fellow Community Champion about retention periods of free sites: Atlassian Jira, JSM & Confluence Free Tier Inactivity & Data Retention
I'll quote Trudy here:
If your Free subscription does get deactivated due to inactivity you will have only 14 days to recover the data. Contact Atlassian Billing, Licensing, & Pricing Support for assistance. You can partially mitigate the risk of data loss by manually creating and downloading a backup of your application.
If it's fairly fresh, I believe you should be able to get your data 'back.' 🤞
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @CodeLazarus
I am so sorry to hear you’re having trouble accessing your data. I know how important those personal work files are, and I want to make sure we get you the right help to investigate what happened.
Because this involves your specific account details, site history, and private data, we need to move this conversation to a secure environment where our Customer Advocate team can take a closer look.
Please take these steps to open a investigation:
Create a ticket through our Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.
Select "Other" as the request type.
If you don't have your SEN or URL handy, you can skip that field or enter "Unknown."
In your description, please include a link to this Community post and mention that you have browser history showing recent activity. This will help the team trace the deactivation.
A quick note on our Free plan policy:
To keep our systems efficient for active teams, Atlassian does deactivate sites after a period of inactivity. You can find the full details Track storage and move data across apps | Atlassian Support.
We typically send several email warnings to the site administrators before this happens.
Generally, once a site is fully deleted due to inactivity, the data is not recoverable.
However, since you mentioned you were actively visiting the site, our Customer Advocates can check if there was a technical sync issue or if the site was deactivated for a different reason. They are the only ones who can give you a definitive answer and check if a temporary backup is still available for export.
I hope they’re able to find a path forward for you!
Best,
Samuil

I entered the data into fields but there is no submit button. Only self help button...

Hi @CodeLazarus
Please try raising this in Incognito and do not log in.
I would be happy to raise this on your behalf, but Billing-related issues can only be resolved if the affected user reaches out.
Best,
Samuil

@CodeLazarus it's a bit unintuitive; you need to:
And this will actually submit the info you added to "Your Question" section.
