Moving Pages and Controlling where a Template creates

Chelsea DeWall

We have used the same template for a while to make reports. However, somehow, only half of the reports are under children of the report page and the rest are children of a different page. Is there an easy way to move multiple pages? Also, how do I control where they are going..... I saw how to make a template button go to a certain space, but I can't figure out how to get it under a certain page.

Templates have nothing to say about the location of the pages that are created with them.

Where a page is created is entirely up to the person creating it.  The default is to create a page as a child of the page the person is currently on, but the creator can change that.

The template is just a template for the content, nothing else (like metadata, location, etc)

You can re-arrange your tree from space admin -> content -> page tree, but it's not really "in bulk"

I was able to move the pages through the list were you see them all, it was one at a time, but dragging was easy.
