We have issues that were created in Jira when they should have been created in Confluence.
We are starting a new project, we're in the discovery phase, and the issues that were entered in Jira are user stories that need discussion and refinement. The remote team entered almost 300 in Jira; I've done the same but in Confluence. I'd like them to all be in the same place for simplicity (as opposed to some here, some there, good luck finding it).
Is there a simple way to move all issues from Jira to Confluence?
Confluence is not an issue tracker, so you'll need to explain what you mean when you are using it to contain issues (i.e. how are you using it? Is an issue a page? A space? A task? etc)
Thank you Nic.
We are entering product requirements (user stories). They should be in Confluence. However, the remote team added them into Jira.
We don't have any "issues" per se, we're collecting, organizing, and refining the product requirements which I want to do in Confluence.
I created a space in Confluence for the project, added an overview, various files, as well as product requirements. While I was doing that, they were entering product requirements in Jira as issues.
I want their Jira issues (which are actually product requirements) to be moved to Confluence. At this point, Jira should be empty. I was hoping to not have to copy/paste that many items.
