Hi,
I am using a "Table from CSV" macro in order to display a table, which reads its data from a remote CSV file.
I would like to allow the user to add an extra column and set the values of specific cells of this column, manually, via the Confluence UI.
Is there a way to do it?
Hi @Eyal Zmora ,
You may add a column with unique IDs (keys) to the source CSV file, then create a regular manual table in Confluence with the same column (equal header and IDs), wrap the Table from CSV macro and the manually created table in the Table Transformer macro and use the Look up preset.
When the page is published, you will see the whole one table. In the edit mode your colleague will be able to add data into the manually created table.
Here is a similar question.
Amazing @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_ . This is exactly what I needed.
The only caveat is that if CSV changes and more IDs are added, I need to manually update the regular table accordingly with the new IDs.
Thanks for your great support

Hi,
As this thread concerns our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, we are happy to announce its new macro – Table Spreadsheet.
This new macro allows you to work with fully functional Excel spreadsheets right in Confluence. You’ll be able to use filters, cells’ formulas, conditional formatting, etc., create pivot (aggregated) tables and charts from the page view&edit mode.
The Table Spreadsheet macro works for Cloud and Server/Data Center.

Hi @Eyal Zmora
The data added from the attachment cannot be modified

That is what I thought...
Any creative idea how to overcome this problem? Perhaps another table side by side with the original one?

You could create a section and column macro in order to carry out this method!!
Otherwise no alternative @Eyal Zmora
