Migrating/Moving all data from space A to space B on the same server instance version 5.9.11

Hi guys, 

So I want to move an entire space, space A with all its content to a brand new space, space B on the same server(on premise) instance  with the same version(5.9.11) .

My question is how can this be done in an efficient way making sure all attachments including pictures, pdfs etc remain intact and no broken links resulting?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Hi @KWAKYEWA 

My suggestion would be to copy the homepage with all its children.

This works only, because you are on confluence server. 

To do this:

1. Create a new empty space "space B"
2. Go to the home page of space A
3. Click copy and choose "Include child pages"
4. Click next
5. On the next screen, you can do some changes, but you don't have to. Make sure every include check box is checked. 
6. Click copy
7. On the new space B, go to the settings and define a new home page
8. The new home page is the copied home page from space A 
9. You can delete Space A now

Oh I realized now... Your server version is to old. 

The possibility to check "include child pages" is available since confluence 6.0.1 (CONFSERVER-2814)

But you can "move" the pages and it's children. Described here: Move page V5.9 

Try this and let me know it this worked.
