I setup users as directed. I did have two users under my name in the old system, one the admin with an old address.
However once migrated, all pages and content I formally created is marked as "Former User".
Is there a way to correct the name on this stuff?
Is there a way to try the migration again?
Cheers!
Peter.
Hi Peter,
Can you point us to the method you are using to migrate your data. We have tried using the Cloud Migration Assistant for Confluence but have found none of our users are mapped so all our contact info is marked as 'Former User'. You seem to be one step ahead of us so if you can help point me in the right direction to get users mapped that would be appreciated.
Hi Nicole, yes I used the Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant. Note you need to create your users in the new cloud system before you migrate. My 8 other users have been marked correctly but I have not and I created a lot of the content. Seems to be something to do with me changing email addresses sometime during the life of the wiki.
Confluence support can assist with this by running scripts, but they're quite slow and now my cloud instance has been deactivated so I'll need to start again :-( .

Hello,
It means these users were not migrated during your migration. How do you migrate data? By CSV file? If so , just mark the map option for the reporter and assignee fields and you will be able to map users. All absent users will be created.
