Hi there,
We are trying to migrate a large Confluence Server install to Confluence Cloud but we are facing somme issues :
- It seems impossible to do a full export/import because of the size of our Confluence install. For instance the size of the confluence directory is roughly 9GB and the XML files in the ZIP export are over 200MB (Following this documentation : https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/migrate-from-confluence-server-to-cloud-724765529.html )
Is there a way to bypass this limit ?
- We have 86 spaces, so doing an export in the WebGUI, downloading it and then importing the space in Confluence Cloud is very time consuming.
Is there a way to do it by some CLI or an export on the Confluence Server directly ?
Thanks a lot !
Saâd
No, there's no way to "bypass" the limits. They're not really imposed by the software, they're more about the limitations of the services and hardware that cloud runs on.
Your only option is to import spaces one by one, and if a space is too large, you will have to shrink it before exporting.
