Merging confluence user accounts

Currently, some users have created content using more than one account. Is it possible to amend the content so that it has been created by the same person?

In the database, I can see that the user_key field in the user_mapping table is used to determine the username, creator and lastmodifier in the content table – is it just a case of changing this to the correct user’s key?

You can have only one user account mapped to one userkey. userkey is used for renaming purposes.

The second user will have a different userkey as well. You will have to modify all the tables with the correct userkey and the appropriate cwd_user with the correct user name. My recommendation would be to test this firsting in a staging environment.
