Merged companys

When companies merge who both have atlassian products can we create access groups that can access various JIRA projects and confluence pages on each other sites using the licenses they already have on each side ?

Interesting question, thank you for asking. The users will need to be licensed on both instances in order to access the content. If you want to save licenses then it would make more sense to merge the two instances together.

Unfortunately on Cloud, merging two instances together isn't as easy.

For Confluence, you would need to do a space-by-space import.
