Hi,
I would like to enable an ability for my team to write math equations in Confluence including the square root of something; sum sign; X to the power of y, etc. Could you please advise if there is a secure free App for this on the marketplace?
Thanks.
Lena

You can check information about Cloud Fortified on the app's marketplace page.
This free app for tabs doesn't have Cloud Fortified.
But if it is essential for your team, you can consider other apps on the marketplace that have Cloud Fortified. Unfortunately, they are not free, but much better security.
Some of them:
The latter will provide your team with a full toolkit of other useful macros that aren't built into Confluence: numbered headings, tabs, tooltip, BibTeX, etc.
Let me know if you need more information because my team has developed these apps.

Hi @Lena Sargsyan ,
there are some apps on the Atlassian marketplace for that. A free app available is the following https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226109/latex-math-for-confluence-math-formula-equations-free?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
Hope this helps,
Fabio

hey @Lena Sargsyan , It's difficoult to have a cloud fortified app for free. You can contact app vendor to have more information about security.

Hi everyone,
Looks like we missed this thread earlier.
I just want to chime in and let you know that the mentioned app:
LaTeX Math for Confluence - Math Formula & Equations
is Cloud Fortified since early 2024.
So it's very safe to use in enterprise environment. We are also working on SOC2 compliance and should be complete in early 2025.

Hi @Lena Sargsyan ,
The existing answers cover static math equations well. But if your team needs something different — animated math visualizations — there's another option:
Manim for Confluence brings the Manim animation engine directly into Confluence. Instead of just displaying equations, you can create animated visualizations that show how mathematical concepts work step-by-step.
What it's good for:
Features:
It's a different approach from LaTeX: instead of static equations, you get dynamic, animated explanations embedded in your Confluence pages.
