Markup tool not creating pop-up

I no longer receive a pop-up window when I select the "markup" tool while editing. Is it some sort of issue with a popup blocker?

1. Does this occur in incognito mode? yes, Work around of using Internet explorer functions perfectly
2. Does this happens in any page that you try to edit? every page this occurs
3. Does this happens in a newly created page as well? did not try
4. Is this affecting other users? Yes one of my Canadian counterparts also had the same issue, who told me to use internet explorer
5. Are you still able to use other macros? Other macros work fine
6. Cloud or server? Not sure. I believe the could since I'm running into issues in the office and on the road.

As I understand, the Markup tool is not working as expected. Is that correct?

So, it is unlikely that this is caused by a pop-up blocker. The macro brings a dialog within the editor itself, not into another browser window.

Can you check for us if this happens in your browser incognito mode? We can try to rule out caching issues doing this.

Further, could you clarify the following for us:

1. Does this happens in any page that you try to edit?
2. Does this happens in a newly created page as well?
3. Is this affecting other users?
4. Are you still able to use other macros?

Also, could you tell us if you are on Confluence Cloud or Server (on premises)?
