Hello together,
i have a question about logging in to an Confluence Site.
Anonymous login is disabled so that everybody who wants to enter Confluence needs to log in with their LDAP credentials.
The problem now is that when somebody wants to enter Confluence it displays "not allowed".
If i set an AD group which everybody includes it works but than it says that were under licensed.
We do not need more admins for those Conflunce server we just need that every AD (LDAP) user can access one Confluence site and needs to enter their credentials.
Thank you
Hi Gregor,
Each person that has access to login to Confluence regardless if they're an admin or not will need a Confluence license.
Can you confirm if this is the trouble you're having? You'll need to make sure to purchase a license for each person that will be in the LDAP group with access to Confluence.
Regards,
Shannon
Hello Shannon,
thx for your reply, exactly thats the problem.
We don`t want to make that site public without any restriction...
best regards
Gregor

Hi Gregor,
In that case, you will need to give each user a Confluence license. So you will want to make sure your license tier matches the number of users in your LDAP group.
