Location of DB of confluence in CestOS server

soldesk October 3, 2017

Hi,

We are using CentOS to our confluence server 5.8 and we cannot access the URL. We need to backup the database and the only way we can access the server is through SSH. My question is where can I find the Postgres database of the Confluence?

I try "$find -name *.sql" but it failed.

thanks in advance

If you are using PostGres, then you need to look at the database server, not a random file on your file system.

Look in the system information page in Confluence to find out where the database is.  Or, on the command line, <confluence home>/dbconfig.xml
