Links in Jira not always clickable in Confluence

I am using the Confluence Jira Widget to link between Confluence and Jira.

In Jira, I have a field defined as a URL which l links to a related page in Confluence.

In Jira, this link is always clickable and works fine.

Within Confluence, the Jira Widget always shows the URL but sometimes it is clickable (blue) and sometimes it is shown as text (black)

I am expecting it to always be clickable as it is a link.   What can be done to improve this?

I am using the cloud-based Jira and Confluence.

Kind regards

James

Hey James,

I've found the best way to ensure that the link is clickable (on the Confluence side) is to copy/paste the issue url into Confluence.

I've also found that if there is anything after the issue number in the url (i.e. abc-123/***) that the link is not always clickable.

Hope this helps,

Tyler
