Linking Confluence pages to Application pages as help content

Radha Devaraj
June 10, 2020

Kindly suggest if we can create user guide in confluence and then use each of the confluence page links in our Software App as online help pages? What are the disadvantages?

Looking forward to your expert advice.

Kind Regards,

Radha

Hi @Radha Devaraj

You could do this with base Confluence by setting a space with anonymous access. The disadvantages here is that the space won't look like a user guide site and also, the URLs can change easily, breaking the connection to your app.

You could use my team's apps Scroll Versions and Scroll Viewport to accomplish this. Here's the documentatiion on our Confluence-based help center about how it works: https://help.k15t.com/scroll-viewport/latest/server/in-app-help-172597399.htmlsd
