Link to a heading on a page or another page, is this working?

I couldnt get this to work. is it working?

these steps are not showing for me: 

1. Hover over the heading to reveal the link icon to the left of the heading.

2. Click the link icon to copy the link.

I also tried a legacy anchor to no avail.

Finally figured it out: https://<org>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<SpaceID>/pages/<PageID>/<PageNameWithSpaceReplacedByDash>#<pageTitleWithSpacesRemoved>-<AnchorHeadingWithSpacesRemoved>

My method:

1. pick any text highlight on the page which you want to anchor to heading and create "Link" in the top bar menu (like url email)

2. goto advanced

3. add heading text (with spaces) as instructed by the helper text

4. copy the url made from this link.

5. confirm link works in incognito tab.
