Letting a customer access his page

Hi, I am trying to allow a customer to access ONLY his space. I have created a group and added him to it and assigned the group to the space. But when i log in using his details i get a error:

Not Permitted

You are not permitted to perform this operation.

Ive spent a few hours now trying to get this working

Can the user access anything in Confluence? Please make sure that the user has the "can use" permission (or is in a group with that permission) in Confluence Admin>Global permissions. (<Confluence_Base_URL/admin/permissions/globalpermissions.action)

If you have more trouble, please post screen shots of the permissions on the Global and Space level.
