Legal Name Change

My name was changed legally, and I was able to update my dashboard and profile. However, in my shortcut side bar, it is still titled with my old name at the tope. No one in our technology group can figure this out. Any suggestions? Thank you

It can take a few hours for the caches to catch up after a name change in a profile (I've seen it take a day when I've changed stuff before, but I suspect that's unusual).

If it's been more than a few hours, could you show us exactly what you mean by "shortcut side bar .... old name at the top", as I'm not sure what field you're talking about.   A screenshot would be ideal (blur the old name out, we need to know where it is, not the actual data in it)

My name changed over a month ago. I have gone in and have done all the edits, where I could. However, it does not seem like anyone at our company is able to find where the old name of NETTLING, is still being pulled from. Anything you can suggest would be great. Thank you.

Ah!  The url is a giveaway - the page you are looking at is part of a personal space, and those display a bit of your Confluence profile in them.  This is separate to your user account and needs to be edited separately.

Only the person who's space it is can edit their profile (and, of course, admins).  If you click on your old name in that grey box, it will take you to your Confluence profile, which you can then edit.  (This shouldn't have any lag, save the name change and go back to your page, the grey box should be correct immediately!)
