LaTeX Math for Confluence app

Hi,

I have just downloaded the  LaTeX Math for Confluence app and wanted to give it a try by entering a simple formula. Here is what I got instead.

Please advise what's wrong?

please try to enter the following :

ab = {sqrt{x^2}}
