Hi I hope someone can help me with this :-)
We are a data team using a Kanban board in Jira and these are the statues of our board ( there is also in "ready for release" and "done")
and in the Backlog I have
Triage
Backlog
Now I want the "Triage" status to disappear from the board, however when I move the "Triage" status to unmapped and it disappear from the main board, it also disappear from the backlog. What i want is my Kanban board like this, the first stage should be "To Do"
and the backlog to have these statuses
Triage
Backlog
Anyone can tell whether this is possible?
Thanks
Floreana
Hi @Floreana Di Trapani , you should have a Backlog column shown on the Columns screen in the Board configuration screen. You can map the desired statuses there.
Oh, please note that my answer was for CMP. If you are using TMP then there is not a "Backlog" column to map statuses to. In order to include issue s on the Kanban board then in the Backlog screen you drag issues to the upper section. If you un-map any status those issues will disappear.

the problem is not with the backlog, It is with the board, I want the triage status to disappear, but when I un-mapp it, it also disappear from backlog.

Hi @Floreana Di Trapani , yes understand. First are you using CMP or TMP project? You find that info n owner left corner.
if you unmap the status in TMP it will indeed disappear for both the board and backlog.
feel free to share a screenshot of the Columns view under board configuration.
