Jira work item macros does not display the list once the page is published. Instead it shows a URL of Jira filter. When in edit mode the list is displayed correctly.
Hello @Vineet Kotian - admin ,
Thank you for your question.
This is a common issue in Confluence Cloud when embedding Jira filters using the Jira Issues macro — especially when it renders correctly in edit mode but only shows a URL in published view.
Steps - Re-insert the Jira Issues macro properly:
1. Edit the Confluence page.
2. Delete the existing URL if it was pasted manually.
3. Click the **+ menu → Jira** or type /jira`.
4. Choose “Search for issues” or paste your JQL directly.
5. In the macro settings panel on the right:
Display as: select Table or List (not URL)
Maximum issues: increase if you expect more than 10 results
6. Click Insert, then Publish the page.

Display Jira work items in a list
Thank You @pawarsachin84 . I was able to achieve this through the legacy Jira Issues filter but not through the Jira work items macro. The Jira work items macros doesnt have the above options to choose from
