Jira and Confluence attachments

My company is moving our hosted Jira and Confluence Instance to the Atlassian Cloud. We have a lot of attachments in both and by running a query in the database, we found the total size of all our attachments in Jira was 8579635355. I want to make sure that this number is stored in bytes on the database.
