Jira Macro on Site Welcome Message doesn't seem to work

I want to embed the JIRA macro with open tasks of current user into the welcome message (System Blueprint). Bit the macro can't render and shows an unexpected error. The macro does work though on every other page I tested it. My current workaround is to create the content on a normal space page and include that page as the Site Welcome Message - this way everything works fine.

@Jonathan Are you on data center or cloud?  What macro are you using?  What is the error?
