JIRA unable to link up with Confluence

We are a JIRA user and had subscribed Confluence as well. 

Unfortunately we were unable to link both JIRA and Confluence despite many attempts. 

Kindly enlighten and do not hesitate to let me know what info do you require to further investigation.
