It is no longer possible to edit old pages after updating from 6.15.6 to 7.3.2 / 7.3.5

We updated version 6.15.6 to 7.3.2 or today again to 7.3.5 (to avoid errors) and since then we can no longer edit old pages. Creating new pages, changing and also deleting is easy. If you want to edit an old page you get the German message:

Bearbeiten ist momentan nicht verfügbar. Versuchen Sie es in wenigen Minuten erneut.

I have checked all sorts of settings etc. and according to Confluence the system is also working properly - i.e. all system check settings are green and ok. It's not because of the iptables proxy either. I have already deactivated Iptables and changed the port to 8090 directly or tested without success - same problem

We urgently need a solution because we can no longer adapt old pages.

Resolution

Enable the Synchrony Interop Bootstrap plugin under General Configuration > Add-ons > All. If this plugin is disabled, we see the error Something went wrong messages on the CE management page.

After enabling it, make sure that the Collaborative Editing Plugin is also enabled. If this plugin is disabled, we cannot access the CE management page at all.
