Issue with Tables in PDF exports have 3D effect occurring again

Alison Paddock

The issue that was reported in 2024 is occurring again as of Aug 4, 2026 - the PDF export did not behave this way on July 30, 2026.

Solved: Tables in PDF exports have 3D effect

[CONFCLOUD-80335] Tables in PDF Export Display Shadows and Extra Lines - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

Please reapply the previous fix that resolved this.

Thank you

Hi @Alison Paddock,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Support.

I understand you're experiencing an unexpected 3D effect when exporting pages containing tables to PDF format. I attempted to reproduce this on my end but was unable to replicate the behavior.

To investigate further, I'll need to look into this directly on your site. I've raised support ticket JST-1340027 to track this issue, and I'll be continuing my investigation there.

Regards,
Rishabh

Hi @Alison Paddock with the details provided, 'm not able to replicate your issue in my space.  Have you tried a different browser?  Do different users see this same behavior?  I'm wondering if there is a specific workflow that isn't working, or how widespread this is.

I'm going to loop in Atlassian Support, but if you don't hear back from them, as an Admin, I would suggest contacting them with details on recreating the issue so they could weigh in on it.

If there is a new Jira Work Item because of it, feel free to post the number here so we can vote for it.
