Issue with Filtering Custom Fields in Atlassian Projects & Goals (Atlas)

We love using Atlassian Projects & Goals (formerly Atlas) and rely on a few custom fields to help track our work. Up until recently, these custom fields were filterable on the Projects page. However, after adding a new custom field option, we've noticed that while it appears as a filter option, selecting it returns no results—even though we know there are projects that should match.

Has there been a recent change to how custom fields work in Projects & Goals? Or does anyone have tips or workarounds to troubleshoot this? It seems like it should be straightforward, but now that it’s not working as expected, I’m stumped.

Any insights would be appreciated!

Hi @alvina_avecilla ,

I'm just going to move this question to the appropriate product group so someone there can take a look at this.

As far as I know, there haven't been that kind of changes related to Atlassian Home and Projects & Goals.

Additionally, have you maybe tried reaching out to Atlassian Support related to this issue you're experiencing to see if they can help out?

Cheers,
Tobi

Thanks Tobi!

I did hear back from Atlassian and turns out it's a bug when using an apostrophe in the field title. :)
