Hello,
Could you please advise how to import an HTML export from Notion (around 1GB in size) into Confluence? We’ve hit a size limitation, and now the import process doesn’t work at all.
When selecting the ZIP file in the Notion Content Upload section, nothing happens — the system just ignores the file.
Thanks in advance for your support.
It seems the import button itself doesn’t actually work, but you can drag and drop the file instead.
Also, in the settings it’s possible to increase the file size limit up to 1GB. However, when trying to import, the system only tells you to contact the administrator. That feels misleading — it would be clearer if the message suggested going into the settings and adjusting the limits directly.
Hi @Ilia welcome to the community. Other than finding a way to break up the file into smaller chunks, I'm not aware of another way to upload it.
I did find CONFCLOUD-71165 on Atlassian's Jira Site to allow for larger imports. It's referring to backup imports, but I figure it's most likely the same issue. Feel free to vote for it and watch it for updates.
This one specific to the Notion import was recently created: CONFCLOUD-82532
I went ahead and voted for it too.
I also found CONFCLOUD-80884 specific to a Notion import which might be useful to you.
Hope that helps.
