Isses with page expiry

Hi,

I have followed all the steps to move the page from Approved state to expired after a period of 1 day after approval state, but it doesn't work. 

I can see the clock of 1 day in Approved state, then after expiry, the state doesn't transition to Expired state. 

Is there any admin settings needed to have this functionality to work?

Any help is much appreciated. Please also suggest any alternative ways of achieving this.

Can you show more details like screenshots and the steps taken?

This as I remember this is not an ootb function in Jira in DC or Cloud, are you using a custom macro or an app for this?
