Is this issue with TOC and Excerpt a known issue?

  1. In page1 add a Table of Contents (TOC) macro within an Excerpt macro.
  2. In page2 add an Excerpt Include macro configured to point to page1

Expected:

  • List renders with working hyperlinks to page1#anchor

Actual:

  • List renders with broken hyperlinks to page2#anchor

To get the links to work from the excerpt include macro on page 2, go to page 1 where the TOC resides, edit the TOC macro and click the absolute url checkbox:
