Is there are way to exclude headings from Excerpts or Included Pages in a TOC?

I know that we can exclude individual headings from the TOC macro, but I have a page that is including multiple Excerpts and Included Pages. My main page went from having 8 headings on the TOC to more than 20. I really am hoping to avoid adding each individual heading in the Exclude field if at all possible. Does anyone have any ideas?
